To provide an opportunity to discuss wind farm developments.

Give the representations being received by the Parish Council in connection with possible proposals for wind farm development in or around Broughton and surrounding villages, Councillors have resolved to hold a public meeting.

Whilst this it not intended to focus on any particular proposal, the Council believe it is important that those with views on the subject generally have an opportunity to discuss the same.  It is hoped a range of views will be aired so as to assist Councillors in commenting upon any future planning applications consulted upon.

If you feel strongly about wind farm developments, either in support or opposition, please come along and share your views.  If you are undecided, then the evening may enable you to learn more.

Please note - this meeting is a neutral event and the Broughton Parish Council has made no commitment to support or oppose any scheme that might be proposed.  It is simply intended to facilitate open discussion of a topic that has prompted many comments.
