Broughton Parish Council
- Need to get date for Broughton Parish Council open meeting in order to arrange presentation to motivate objectors. Action Group representative to attend next meeting on 19 November 2008.
- Suggestion to invite Mike Barnard and Philip Hollobone MP to address future Broughton Parish Council open meeting.
Summer Protest Walk
- Suggested that a protest walk in the summer might be a photo opportunity for Anglia News and local newspapers, maybe even fundraising. Agreed that it would be a big project requiring planning from next spring.
Next Flyer
- Delivery should be early December to keep the impetus moving.
Fundraising/Donations
- Suggested that the website installs a Paypal donation button as we need funds.
Any Other Business
- Question raised on how much influence comments in newspapers have after an article is published.
- Suggestion of flying a blimp like Brixworth to illustrate the height of the wind turbines.
- Laminated posters and banners need to be designed. Investigate cost implications and size.
- Author article for Broughton News (annual booklet published in March 2009).
- Advised that we need to be aware of any changes in current legislation.
